How to submit a quote

The actual submission process is simple; you simply fill out the first text box with your quote. You may optionally add any brief notes you desire to the second, and should you like to be credited as the submitter, enter your desired name in the third text box. If the quote came from FMyLife.com then you can safely ignore the drop-down box, otherwise you may select one of FML's sister websites.

As for how to format your quote, there are two methods you can use.

Easy, clean - Simply grab a copy of the FMyLife userscript from the downloads page, and use its quote extraction feature to grab each comment and format everything correctly, with minimal effort.

Easy, messy - Do a messy copy/paste of the comments making up the quote, and we'll do all the formatting and tidying-up for you.

Manual, DIY - Format the quote properly for us, so it looks something like this:

<<Commenter McOne>> Hey.
<<Commenter McTwo>> Hi, buddy. S'up?
<<Commenter McOne>> Not much, bro. Did you hear? Dane Cook escaped another assassination attempt.
<<Commenter McTwo>> FML.

Enclosing the commenter name on each line in << and >> will automatically format them correctly, so it makes less work for us, and means we probably won't put a hex on seven generations of your family. Plus, you'll get a warm fuzzy feeling on the inside*.
