This is the FML quote database, founded and administrated by Sirin.

Here you can submit comments or threads from the FMyLife, Vie de Merde, and other sister sites' comment sections that you think should be preserved for posterity. They can be a single comment or a whole conversation, and they can be funny or serious. The only rule is that, for obvious reasons, your submission must have actually happened. This can and will be determined even if the FML or any of the comments have since been deleted.

A good place to start is either the Best or Latest pages. The Random page will give you fifty random quotes, while the >0 link will do much the same, but displaying only quotes with a greater number of positive votes than negative.

All quotes in the database are confirmed as genuine before they are published, but bear in mind that since FMLs are sometimes pruned for various reasons, you may be unable to find some of the comment threads by regular means. Consequently, this site also functions as a graveyard for those comments whose parent FMLs didn't stand the test of time.

The site has been completely overhauled. Most of the functionality remains the same, but some additions have been made, including a new theme. If the default dark theme is not your thing, you can switch to an alternative lighter theme by clicking the plus sign on the navbar, and selecting the appropriate option.

The FML enhancer has been updated to function with the latest FMyLife website's layout. The downloads page is here along with an easier installation method for Chrome/Chromium users, and the user-lists are here.
